Mrs. Maria

Studio Founder & Instructor

Mrs. Maria is one of the original founders of Art Studio LA. She studied architecture and is also the owner and director of an international Montessori school, which she leads during the day. In addition to her educational background, she is a practicing tattoo artist and has been deeply involved in the arts for many years.

Mr. David

Studio Founder & Instructor

Mr. David is one of the original founders of Art Studio LA. He owns and operates his own construction company during the day. And has received awards for his pencil work throughout Los Angeles County and California. His art focuses on strong technical foundations paired with imaginative surrealism.

Ms. Viviann

Head Instructor & Studio Director

Ms. Viviann graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) in the Visual Arts Department and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animation with a Minor in Stop Motion Animation from Pacific Northwest College of Art / Willamette University. Her artwork has been showcased in exhibitions throughout Portland, Pasadena, Chinatown, and Downtown Los Angeles, and she has received multiple awards for her work.

Ms. Jocelyn

Instructor

Ms. Jocelyn is a Studio Arts major at California State University, Los Angeles, specializing in painting with a focus on photorealism. She is a self-taught artist whose skills have been shaped through years of independent practice and exploration. Her passion for art began in high school, where she was awarded Artist of the Year, and she has since showcased her work in exhibitions throughout Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood.

She loves capturing texture and fine details that bring her artwork to life and enjoys working across a wide range of mediums. Ms. Jocelyn is passionate about teaching and enjoys sharing the techniques, tips, and insights she has gained while encouraging creativity and exploration in every student.

Ms. Natalia

Instructor

Ms. Natalia is currently studying and getting her Visual Arts degree. She is a former Art Studio LA student and has been part of the studio community since the age of six.

Natalia’s work often explores mixed media, combining multiple materials to create expressive and imaginative pieces. She enjoys experimenting with different approaches and encourages students to explore freely while building strong foundational skills. Charcoal is her primary teaching medium, as several of her own portfolio pieces were created entirely in charcoal.

Mr. Alberto

Instructor Substitute

Mr. Alberto is a former Art Studio. LA student. He graduated from LACHSA and is currently pursuing his Art degree. He specializes in character design, pencil drawing and abstract art, and enjoys helping students develop their creativity and artistic skills.
